CONTAINER HANDLER COURSES G2, G4
Operators should be trained to an essential level of skill to work with Container Handler trucks safely, efficiently and with competence. By the end of the course the operator should state the reasons for operators training, and pass a basic operatives skills test as set out in the HSE publication Rider-Operated Lift Trucks, Approved Code of Practice, (L117).
NOVICE COURSE
Is aimed at People with no previous experience, the course will last 5 days. (Training time can be reduced if the number of trainees is less than 3).
EXPERIENCED COURSE
Is aimed at People who have had previous operating experience, but either do not have a certificate of basic training or are unable to provide proof that they held one. the course will last 3 days. (Training time can be reduced if the number of trainees is less than 3).
SAFETY REFRESHER
For Operators trained on different types of equipment who wish undertake a 3 year safety refresher. the course will last 7.5hrs. (Training time can be reduced if the number of trainees is less than 3).
